  Great art and design bookstore on oxford street in Paddington.

  San Francisco, CA: William Stout Architectural Bookstore

  A very dangerous place to visit - I never leave without multiple purchases.

  Beautiful, interesting books on architecture and design are stacked in enticing ziggurats, and the staff are very helpful - leading to more book-buying!

  Make sure to go downstairs to the design department - it's a little hidden.

  Austin, TX: Hotel San Jose

  Amazing, chilled out place, with a pool to lounge around and chat. A decent walk to the centre of Austin / Convention Center, but near to lots of very hip restaurants and shops.

  "Best in Finland" was all that the swaying Finn would grunt at me with a smile at 3am. Try the Jaskans Special at least once in your life provided you have adequate medical cover.
