Lunch on a Budget... Take trip down Mint Road in Fordsburg, the place has a range of restaurants across all cultures (Chinese, Pakistani, Italian, etc.) and price ranges.

Radium Beer Hall, Orange Grove, Louis Botha Ave. One of the oldest pubs in Jozi. Great Food, real locals, NOT SCC (Shopping Centre Crap)

Grant Avenue, Norwood. Street Cafe culture. Choose from Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Mediterranean, Portuguese... it's all there.
