There are loads of restaurants at the V&A Waterfront - some quite disappointing - but these 2 I can absolutely recommend: "221 Waterfront" - the most delicious Springbok Carpaccio in whole South Africa! "BAÍA" seafood restaurant - excellent! Be sure to make a reservation.
This tip has the address "V&A Waterfront" -

There are two Chef Pon's both minutes walk from each other, slightly diff menus but bothare very worth a visit - the fusion Sushi at Sawadi is off the charts.

It is friendly, and unpretentious to the extreme: the focus is on the food, or meat, rather, and locals and travellers of all stripes, including backpackers from a nearby hostel, enjoy their steaks there.
