Girish Menon replied over 4 years agoHave a great dinner experience at Bobby Chin's resturant near Hoan Kiem lake. It's fusion cuisine and a bit expensive (you'll have to make reservations because it's usually full), but the ambience and the food is very good. After that, just walk down the street for some great ice cream at Fanny's.

Nels Setterlund replied over 3 years agoWhile this may sound great Bobby Chin's restaurant has moved to the West Lake, which is less touristy and more populated by expats. The food is still great, just a little more out of the way. I would recommend Bun Bo Nam Bo on Hang Dieu (pronounced Zee-oo). Delicious dish near the Old Quarter or hit up any Pho place you find on the street (but don't eat at Pho 24, its more expensive and not nearly as delicious).

Treena Clark replied over 3 years agoConsider too the Green Tangerine...French cuisine adapted with / complemented by Vietnamese spices and what's fresh and easily available in the local market. Enjoying lunch or dinner there is like being in the film Indochine. Also the collection of French wines is incredible! Great sommelier!

Every city or province in Vietnam has their own specialty. It is likely impossible to list all them here. I just want to show you my personal favored list that I often go. My choice is simple: hygienic, affordable and unique foods that you may not find in anywhere else. Have a look at this article and you will know more about restaurant in Vietnam http://www.vietvaluetravel.com/blog/2011/01/14/10-restaurants-i-like-from-saigon-to-hanoi/
