Guillermo Amador replied over 3 years agoYou could go to the Centro de Arte La Estancia, there is always something to do there (jazz concerts and things like that). Also there is a place called Trasnocho Cultural, in Las Mercedes, where you may find theatre, cinema, nice restaurants, cafes, book and music stores.
At Centro San Ignacio (often referred to as "CSI"), there is live music and plays, free of course, on sunday morning. You can also have a little walk and visit the Mercado de Chacao, a public marketplace, crowded with folks but very nice to visit and buy some fruits or whatever you like to.
Also El Hatillo town is very nice to go to, and in Christmas time, there are many gifts fairs, like the one at the Ateneo de Caracas, open 'till December 24th.

It has a botanic garden, Venezuelan animals on display, a terrarium, an observatory, plenty of sport courts and grassy areas to rest or play. A lot of people go there on weekends since it's a fine place to spend time with family and do other activities like practising martial arts, exercising, dancing, even cheer leading. If you really enjoy nature and physical activity you ought to visit the Avila, the highest mountain located at the very north of Caracas. Venezuelans love to climb the Avila and enjoy the natural spring water that you can drink at one of the highest spots to rest.
