I stayed at many places in Jackson before I moved here. There are a group of hotels all owned by the same folks, The Antler Motel, Elk Country Inn, the 49er and I think one other. I liked them all. The Elk Country in has little cabins and that's kinda nice because you get a little kitchen. The 49er is like a regular motel. The Ranch Inn is pretty okay. The Cowboy Village Resort also has little cabins. There are lots of super $$ places too and I haven't stayed at them. In Grand Teton National park you can't beat Jenny Lake Lodge or Signal Mountain Lodge. Actually Jackson Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Lodge are great too.

At Teton Village the Resort Lodging folks have all sorts of condos and different places you can stay if you want to be right by the ski lifts. You can get a condo that sleeps a bunch of folks at a pretty reasonable rate.
