Charles Bihis replied over 4 years agoPaseo in Fremont - the BEST sandwiches you'll ever eat...seriously!
A small cozy walk-in restaurant, Paseo provides the tastiest sandwiches in town, no contest. Always busy, so there are often line-ups out the door. Order ahead or be ready to wait in line. However you get your sandwich though, it'll be worth the wait.
*they're known for their "Midnight Cuban Press" -> #8.

Thai Tom on the Ave. Always a line. If you want a shorter wait, go alone. The first time I went, the guy next to me said, "The food is free. What you pay for is the show." Pretty much sums up the place. The food is really great too.

Jessica Spengler replied over 2 years agoPike Place Market
Aside from all the touristy fish-throwing, Pike Place really is a great market packed with gorgeous food and some nice arts and crafts. There are tons of places to grab a coffee or a quick bite in and around the market; Matt's in the Market, Café Campagne and the nearby Le Pichet are particularly good, and the salmon sandwiches from the Market Grill and fried oysters from Jack's Fish Spot are tasty too.

Aurora Billings replied over 2 years agoPioneer Square
Elliot Bay Book Company, Smith Tower, plus a great collection of antique stores. The Klondike Gold Rush Museum is run by the National Parks Department and is fantastic. It's tucked away in a boring-looking storefront, but once inside you could easily spend an afternoon exploring exhibits. And the gift shop is lovely.

Atlas Parasite replied over 2 years agoLocated between Madison and 5th Avenue, the Seattle Public Library is pretty easy to distinguish. The building on its own is an interesting piece of architecture and worth going all the way around to get a good view from every corner (I think there are more than 4). But the fun starts once you get inside. It’s not like it’s a huge building, but I always felt like I was inside some Alice in Wonderland type of ride. I guess it depends on your imagination. For the record I have the imagination of a 4-year-old.
