Seattle, WA + Add a trip

W Seattle is my favorite by far, but pricey. Sheraton Seattle 2nd fav.

I like to stay downtown on a budget. I regularly get 3-star rooms at the Red Lion or Crowne Plaza downtown for $60-80 on Priceline. Go to BiddingForTravel.com and check out the prices people get and how to bid. Both places are clean/stylish, offer great views, and are walkable to Westlake Center and the Pike Street Market.

I usually stay at the W. If I need to stay on the Eastside, I'll go for the Westin Bellevue.

The Sorrento Hotel is a splendid place. So nice and homely decoration, and super-nice staff.

I absolutely love the new Arctic Club Hotel on the southern end of Downtown, just on the edge of Pioneer Square. Lovely, comfortable place with such attention to detail. Not too expensive either for such a nice place.
