Two options in lower capitol hill, right across the street from each other:

Cheap bahn mai (pork bbq) vietnamese sandwiches at Pho Taii ($4/sandwich). Alternatively, the Baguette Box right across the street has some of the best sandwiches in Seattle, usually for $6-8.

This tip has the address "1203 Pine St, Seattle, WA‎"

Pho is the cheapest eats pretty much anywhere you go in Seattle. Than Brothers is the most commonly found, and they'll give you a huge meal for $5.

There's bigger and better vietnamese sandwiches at Broadway Cafe, just up the street (Between Pike and Pine on Broadway), for about $5. Pho Tai is schizophrenic in menu, and is consistently mediocre.

Walk around Pike's Place Market and get fish tacos from one of the vendors. Delicious!
