San Antonio, TX + Add a trip

Take a drive through the Texas Hill Country. Towns along the way can include Boerne, Waring, Welfare, Comfort, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Medina, Bandera, Johnson City and the LBJ Ranch.

One of my favorite places I still find time to go and explore is Hemisphere Park next to the new Convention Center and it is across the street from La Villita ( there are hidden stores, a pub, a restaurant , water fountains and a pavilion at the Arneson River Theatre in which sometimes you can see performances throughout the year) . I still explore The Tower of Americas , see the art work displayed in the park, as well as the cultural centers that are open during the day, and did I mention there is a hidden stair way that is wheel chair accessible underneath the Convention Center that leads to a beautiful cave like relaxing area to the river walk . Go into Hemisphere Park , Walk past the play-land park area , and turn left until you see the stairs and walk way area and ta da you are there. It's awesome.
