Amazing, chilled out place, with a pool to lounge around and chat. A decent walk to the centre of Austin / Convention Center, but near to lots of very hip restaurants and shops.

Verdecamp.com is the spot. It's in S. Congress area.. much better than being downtown. Only 5 minutes...

My favorite place to stay during SXSW. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, free wifi (in the lobby) and free breakfast buffet!

Above average accommodation for the low price! The rooms have been redesigned and feel like they were furnished by IKEA.

Restaurants are close by and the Highland Mall is just down the road.

We didn't explore the pool or other amenities, but it looked pretty good when we walked past. I'm not sure if the pool was heated or not.
