    Definitely Hotel San Jose on South Congress!

    The Hotel San Jose is nice (it even has its own song, by The Mavericks), but it is expensive. A great cheap place to stay that is across the street is the Austin Motel. As the sign says "so funky and so far out." I recommend room #131. If price is no matter and you want something fancy and authentic, go for the Driskill.
