Abilene, TX + Add a trip

Although Abilene is a lazy type of town, you can find things to do on the weekend. Its just considerably harder to do than in most cities. Abilene has a decent Zoo, small enough where they still let you hand feed giraffes. (This is no joke you actually feed the giraffes crackers) Pretty fun even for big kids. There is a roller skating rink "The Skatin' Place" and a few arcades. Fantasy World is the best bang for your buck even though the building looks like a worn down strip club. Speaking of Strip Clubs, Jaguars Gold Club is a byob all nude joint for those looking to party after the bars close. BTW be advised in abilene bars close at 12 midnight every night except sat where they are open till 1a. Better start drinking early.
