Abilene, TX + Add a trip

Not much going on in Abilene shopping-wise although the city tries to paint itself as a haven for all things consumer. There is a small sized shopping mall though. The "down town" area has some decent places to rummage around in. Occasionally Abilene has a farmers market off of N. 1st Street. Other shops in this area include "Relics" (texas trendy furniture), and "The Leaf" (not really a shop, but a nice hookah/smoking joint). Numerous antique places and swap meet type shops. Triangle Swap shop is a decent place. Most antique shops are kitschey at best.
