A local introduced me to the Hominy Grill, a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with great versions of local favorites and fantastic seafood and other ingredients locally sourced. Great environs. I had the fresh pan-fried grouper, collard greens, and black-eyed peas and rice. They offer lots of side dishes so go prepared to struggle with too many choices, and take your vegetarian buds too. http://www.hominygrill.com/

A place call " Sermet's Corner" on King Street I had a simple lunch there, the Panini sandwich with porsciutto cost me 10 bucks. and a salad on the side. Free starter bread with home-made dressing, I like it very much!!!
