So... this is no linen table cloth dinner recommendation .. but every time we hit Providence we HAVE to go the the New York Systems Weiner stop in Olneyville.
As the myth goes ... "Same as it ever was... same as it ever was." Stack those wieners up your arm.

This place is so good I brought a menu back with me to the West Coast to try and replicate their sandwiches at home. The experience has been disappointing; Geoff's sandwiches rule. My favorite is the Albuquerque Turkey: turkey, chili, melted muenster, herb cream cheese, celery salt, lettuce....yum!

Mark Franco replied about 1 year agoLocal 121 at 121 Washington Street. Fresh, locally harvested food and drink. Had a lovely meal with a delicious red wine (sustainably grown grapes and wine-making process) from Oregon, all in a charming dining room with excellent service.
