JT Waldman replied over 3 years agoThis question varies depending on season and weather. Indoors–you can't go wrong with The Mutter Museum, aka "the museum of medical oddities." Outdoors–a stroll through the Italian Market, by 9th and Christian is always fun. Eat some nice lunch, grab a chocolate covered strawberry at Anthony's, and you're on your way.
This tip has the address "Mutter Museum-22nd and Chestnut, Italian Market-9th and Christian" -
Joshua Tuscan replied over 3 years agoA walk or bike ride in Wissahickon Park is always lovely no matter if it's winter or summer. Even with an umbrella, it's lovely in the rain.

Mark Pokedoff replied over 3 years agoA walk through Valley Green along the Wissahickon Creek, or along the banks of the Schuylkill River. The Philadelphia Art Museum offers "free" admission ("Pay what you wish") on Sunday mornings. Terrific Sunday brunches are available at hotels throughout the city. I like the one at the Omni Independence Hall.
