    Best Sushi in Delaware Valley

Chef Yong Kim serves up wonderful Sushi at Bluefin with incredibly fresh fish. Fpr visitors to Philly you'll need a car to get there, but it's well worth the trip. Must book at dinner.

If you're in West Philly, hit Dock Street Brewing Co for homebrews and pizza

Absolutely fantastic place for a beer (my favorite is the Cuckoo's Nest Red) and a bite to eat.

Beware the growlers: you pay for the bottle and the beer separately.

    Indian Food

If you like Indian food head down to Lovash Indian Cusine. The owner is super nice, wait staff awesome & food phenomenal, especially the Palek-Paneer. Parking is pretty hard but if you are willing to walk a few blocks you can find some nifty parking on side streets just pay attention to signs. Let him know you are visiting, he has great knowledge of stuff happening downtown.

    Susanna Foo chinese cuisine

Excellent service & outstanding food...if Chinese food is your thing. I loved the menu and the venue/ambience. Well worth a visit if you're in town.

Eat lunch at Reading Terminal Market.

I like the roast pork sandwich at Tommy Dinic's and the prosciutto hoagie from Salumeria. And don't miss the soft pretzels at Fisher's.

Brunch: 1) Sabrina's Cafe in South Philly. On Christian St between 9th and 10th, they serve the most delicious breakfast and lunch plates. Small, cozy, and very cute! 2) Down the street from it is Morning Glory (Christian St. and 10th), which has more of a diner-style decor to it. 3) Other places to consider: Carmen's Country Kitchen (1301 S. 11th) if you want more of a wacky feel but still great hearty food. She has creamers and decorations shaped like different parts of the human body. Not great for families with young children, but a riot for those who are still young at heart and not easily offended.

Dinner: 1) Little Fish (6th and Catharine) - great seafood restaurant. Small and cozy. Seats about 5 tables and the kitchen is open so you can see all the food cooking! 2) Effie's (11th and Pine) - a BYO greek restaurant. Effie herself can be spotted here, and they make the most delicious home-made greek food.

For great brunch/lunch, check out Honey's Sit n Eat. Also, Copper Bistro is a great BYO place. For something non-BYO for dinner, try Friday Saturday Sunday. It's a GREAT little restaurant and all their wine is at cost+$10.

I used to live around Brigid's and I miss it so much. Great Belgian beer choices, too.

I can't tell you how many times I have eaten in this place, known lovingly by its regulars as 'Ming's'. The Walnut Shrimp is a must.

Gastropubs are king in Philadelphia. Be sure to check out Standard Tap, North 3rd, Silk City, The Pub and Kitchen, and Memphis Tap. There are so many more, but that's a pretty good start.

It captures the essesce of Denver living. You will see all here. The occasional urban family, suits on the way to work, students cramming for school, hipsters working on their Macs.
