    I cannot recommend Ventura's

Many locals tell me that this is a bar turned family quasi-Mexican food hangout. When I went it was packed, fairly dirty, noisy, and the food was terrible. Also, it is a vegitarian nightmare

    Tony Packos

Out-of-town visitors usually go to Tony Packos restaurant, famous from M*A*S*H and Jamie Farr and for its signed hot dog buns. And great Hungarian-style food. The Front Street location is the original restaurant and is the definite must-attend location.

    Try the Toledo Zoo

It may be in Toledo, but the Toledo Zoo is one of the better zoos in the country, I think. Very much on par with larger cities that have high profile zoos. There's also a terrific lights display during the holiday season if you can deal with the cold weather that usually accompanies that season. Well worth a trip down the Anthony Wayne Trail.
