    The Standard Hotel New York – it looked nice but being fed with so much hype prior to the stay sure affected my experience, (yes, my expectations were too high – the downside of PR activities too well executed). As with the hotel in Downtown L.A. the staff did their best to pretend they were cooler than their guests. Still, it is a well designed and spectacular place, straddling the High Line. Also, those floor-to-ceiling windows provide exhibitionists with a stage. Yes, you know what I'm talking about! Images + full review here: http://www.guidebook.se/?p=687
