Andy Ciordia replied over 3 years agoSupport local farms and artisanal crafts on Saturday's (early till 1ish) at local markets. Matthews Market in the heart of Matthews, and Tailgate Market at West Park and Camden are local only markets. Yorkmont is the USDA's market and hosts crafts people with local and resell farmers. All can yield treasures depending on time of the year.

Danielle Brockington replied over 3 years agoThe farmer's market on Yorkmont is awesome. During the spring and summer there is a small Farmer's Market uptown across from Seventh Street Station that is really great too.
Harris Teeter sells more and more local produce in their stores year round, but there's not really a consistent reliable place to go for a wide selection of local meats, produce, etc. It sure would be nice though.

Barrett Schrader replied over 2 years agoLove Frash Market! It really depends on your living situation; if you're staying at a hotel, then I would put Fresh Market at the top of your list (if you're planning on purchasing something from their awesome deli).
