For adults, the Arboretum on Geddes Road is a huge, beautiful park along the Huron River that's great for outdoor fun, and there is a canoe livery on the other side of the River near Huron Parkway if you'd like to rent a boat of some sort. There are no end of cultural opportunities in the evening, especiailly on weekends. If you like folk music, the Ark is a well-known venue that has world class acts. Comedy Showcase on Liberty Street has headlined some amazing comics over the years. The student community fuels a very energetic live music scene, with clubs like the Blind Pig (rock) and the Firefly (jazz). You may also want to check the University Music Society website for about 50-60 concerts/plays/etc. a year.
