Ann Arbor, MI + Add a trip

The hotels are all pretty corporate and a nasty brown... The Burnt Toast Inn however is a couple of blocks from downtown, friendly and idiosyncratic. They have two big, friendly dogs which might put some off but it's a very nive little place

If you want to dish out some real cash you could stay and the Campus Inn on E Huron St. I've never actually stayed there but it looks really nice.
