Stanley Fleming replied about 1 year agoThe coastal section of the Park Loop Road is a great place to explore from sunrise to mid-day. Tons of photo ops and it is the access for some of the greatest hiking trails and mountain trails on the island. Stanley Fleming replied about 1 year agoI am not a big time mountain climber. I am also not in the greatest physical specimen you will ever see. BUT, I climbed The Beehive and loved every minute of the climb. I took my time and rested often enjoying the spectacular vistas to behold. Overlooking the Sand Beach section of the Park Loop Road the views are special. I watched large birds and gulls fly BELOW me searching the coastline for food. The trail up the mountain is located such that you have beautiful 180 degree views most of the way. Don't miss this one.
