Dominic Hayzelden replied over 3 years agoThere is a fantastic, but not cheap, restaurant located at the Massachusetts Ave end of Newbury Street called the Capital Grille. The ambience in the place is awesome and it does have the slight trappings of 'old money' which I find quite homely!
The Capital has a great range of steaks which are aged on the premises and the seafood is awesome. However it has to be said, the wine list is the most impressive that I have ever seen anywhere!

Lynn Robinson replied over 3 years agoWell it's Boston...so...Legal Seafoods. They are all over the place, but a local told me that the one downtown is the best one. I know it is pricey, but OMG! It is so worth it. Splurge and get the whole Lobster Bake. Since I'm from the West Coast, I gotta say that the clams were to die for...giant and juicy!
