Steve Ellwood replied over 3 years agoExcellent meal - with huge portions at this eccentric restaurant where you're issued with a rock to break the claws of your crab. Staff were friendly and as it was our joint birthday we got some nice schwag

Chhorvy Ly replied over 2 years agoParish Cafe is a hidden gem. It features dishes from all of the chefs in the Boston area. I absolutely love their creative sandwiches. Be sure to make a reservation because the line gets pretty ridiculous especially during lunch time!

Tom Morris replied over 2 years agoForget all the big chain Hyatt-Regency stuff: Irving House is a lovely little Victorian guest-house that's about ten minutes walk from Harvard Square, and not far from MIT. The rooms are a bit folksy and pleasant. The breakfast room is what you'd expect. If you are prepared to not have an en-suite bathroom, you can stay less than $100 a night, which is Travelodge sort of money in pounds. There's lots of books and for the geeks there is free wifi throughout.
