Naperville, IL + Add a trip

Walking the Riverwalk and window shopping in downtown Naperville is fun. Check Naperville's website for events as there are often festivals and bands scheduled in the Summer and Fall.

The Morton Arboretum in nearby Lisle is a beautiful little spot too. Honestly, the best things about Naperville, to me are the green spaces in close proximity to wherever you are probably staying.

Downtown is nice but it's gotten taken over by a bunch of chains. You want coffee and you have to go to Starbucks, but you have your choice of 3. It's a total shame. Though there are local merchants pushing for a more independent downtown which is at least encouraging.

If you're in the area to shop or experience more urbanity just hop on the metra and get to the loop in Chicago, don't kid yourself out in Naperville.
