robin replied over 4 years agoChicago has so many great things to do. A lot of it depends to do on the weather. The museums are great, the parks are nice ... just strolling and people watching is also fun. I like to go to local street festivals.

Amy Robertson replied over 4 years agoIts great museum city: from the Shedd Aquarium to the Field Museum (right next to one another) to art standards like the Art Institute and the Museum of Contemporary Arts. There are also a bundle of eccentric gems like the Museum of Surgical Science (1524 N Lake Shore Drive), but if I had to pick one to make it to on the weekend, it would be the Museum of Science and Industry.
Part hands on museum meets the heyday of Chicago Industry meets one of the largest science museums in the nation. Its an express bus ride to the southside (the #10 bus) and leaves you in the middle of Hyde Park on the former site of the Columbian Exhibition.
