This venue's permission to license Hecky's business name was revoked, and they are now known as "Hickory's of Chicago"

Try the chicken satay -- it has a unique peanut sauce that's world class. Pad Thai is terrific as well.

Their black bread is out of this world, and their tea is very good, too. The food is very nice. Haven't had the English-style high tea, but this is where I usually stop for lunch or a snack after visiting the Art Institute.

Outstanding. The food is great (try the chicken curry crepe with mango chutney), and the ambience is, too. The Sunday brunch is fantastic.

Giordano's is a Chicago staple. The pizza is good (takes about 45 mins to get it though) and the locals wait for it.

Art of Pizza was named best overall pizza in Chicago by Time Out Chicago. I went once. They weren't kidding. Although the location is a bit misleading (it's in a tiny strip mall, I actually mistook the restaurant for a laundry mat when we first passed it) it's still worth the trip.

One of the best brunch spots in the city. Their French toast is wonderful, and Lincoln Square's a nice place to wander round with a fine range of shopping and particularly good book and music shops (Book Cellar and Laurie's Planet of Sound).

This place is a good option - amazing building (the Carbon and Carbide) and great location on Michigan - short walk down to Millennium Park, Art Institute etc as well as to the stores on the Miracle Mile. Rooms are smart and functional and the three times I have stayed I've been upgraded twice. Amazing views from all floors - if you can, stay in the golden turret for the best views over the amazing architecture of this great city.

I love the breakfast at Bongo Room - if I am in Chicago for work, I always try and get there at least once (either place in Wicker Park, or on Printers Row) for a big and tasty breakfast

Please note the Spertus Café by Wolfgang Puck unfortunately closed last March. Please remove the listing for Spertus Café that is listed on your website: https://www.dopplr.com/place/us/il/chicago/eat/spertus-café

While we very much regret the closing of the Café, Spertus continues to offer kosher catering options. Spertus still partners with Wolfgang Puck Catering to bring a deliciously creative twist to kosher cuisine. Both Spertus and Wolfgang Puck are dedicated to excellence, innovation and the use of only the freshest, highest quality, seasonal ingredients. Chicago’s most notable kosher chef, Laura Frankel, remains serving as our executive chef, creating adventurous, imaginative gourmet kosher dishes.

We provide kosher catering for events both at the Spertus facility and for off-site events in homes, offices and other venues. For more information, please visit our website at www.spertus.edu.

    Thank you.

I stayed here in March and I was thrilled with the hotel and the service we got there. You come to expect the room to be clean and nice and it was but on a couple of occasions I was comped drinks and snacks during the middle of the night by the front desk staff. The banquet food was not only outstanding but several servers were given an applause by their tables for being so professional and courteous, something I have never seen before. No matter what I needed during my time here, someone was there to help. Not only would I stay there again, I can't wait to stay there again.

I have never seen the kind of service, with the quality of food, with the affordable prices as I saw at the Grand Lux Cafe. It felt like a place where you expect to see movie stars and celebrities while giving you amazing food at a price that you don't think twice about.

My one tip is that when they ask you before you order what kind of dessert you want, make sure you order one as they are fantastic.

Just horrible. Mediocre food, terrible service plus a bad dining experience. Whoever thoughts that a high temperature, high humidity, and lots of noise makes for a pleasant evening out is crazy.

The food we had was average at best. When one of us asked if they could some more lettuce with her meal, the waitresses plopped down half a head of lettuce on our table and walked away.

I can't see myself ever going back to this place. There are so many other good restaurants in the vicinity.

The Skydeck of the Sears Tower is definitely worth the $ 15.00. It offers amazing views over the city and Lake Michigan. On a clear day you can see all the suburbs spreading out to the West and the endless blue water of the lake to the East - brilliant!

Another way to experience these views would be going up to the Observatory of the Hancock Tower (a bit more pricy at $ 20.00) or enjoying a dinner / lunch at the Signature Room restaurant on top of the Hancock Tower.

If you have the chance to get tickets for a Cubs game at Wrigley Field on sunny spring or summer day - I highly recommend it! The atmosphere in this old-fashioned baseball stadium is just amazing. Based in a rather residential area of Chicago, it is surrounded by plenty of bars for pre- and after- game drinks and has a Taco Bell nearby as well.
