Amazing sunsets

Taking the time to hike up to the Diamond Head crater rim to the viewpoint (old fire-watch station) that overlooks Honolulu, the zoo and Waikiki is well worth it. Go there around 4-5pm and hike your way up (take some water with you). Around 6pm the sun sets and the view is just amazing.

Tide Pool

There is a tide pool just north of Wimea Bay that is absolutely gorgeous. There is a rim of volcanic rock that protects a large area of shallow water filled with marine life. The rim has two gaps where waves pour in. If you climb the rim you can see an incredible shelf where the ocean recedes and crashes. You could spend a whole day here exploring and swimming in the sun warmed water.

Rainbows Drive-in

Great local food in big portions. This is where surfers go for a meal after a day of surfing the waves. Their fried chicken is awesome and try the slush float for dessert!

Sea Life Park

Somewhat small with short aquatic shows, the true value is in the extra packages with luau's. Swimming with the Dolphins is really great.

The Windward Mall

The Windward Mall in Kaneohe is a two story spoke mall with just the right amount of Local shops, well known franchises and specialty shops with of course the foody stops to boot. Oh yeah it also offers a Regal Cinemas and an indoors kids playground. Its just right for my family days out plus it's near to where I live, I love it.
