Eats on Ponce. Great home cooked food in an eclectic eatery. It's been around for a while.

It all depends on where you are in the city... Downtown/Midtown has the famous (perhaps not that good), cheap Varsity. I also like Mary Mac's Tea Room on Ponce... downhome cooking, cheap, yummy! Mary Mac's is an Atlanta treasure too.

Taco Mac is always good, cheap, and located in several places of Atlanta. Same with Moe's.

Cresent Moon in Decatur or North Lake Mall is pretty decent and cheap.

I definitely agree with Eats on Ponce, incredible food and a great bargain! La Fonda on Ponce. Righteous Room at Ponce and N Highland Ave. Most of the restaurants along that stretch by Poncey Highlands are very reasonable.

Daddy D'z on Memorial is the best barbecue in town, in my opinion, and has low prices.

Six Feet Under on Memorial has great oysters.

Vortex in Little Five Points and Midtown. Great food, good atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian and chicken choices, but also incredible burgers (I'm told).

Also in Little Five Points: Savage Pizza, El Myr, Sabroso Mexicano

Downtown: Several places on Broad Street. Ali Baba Mediterranean and Thai Gourmet

    In Cabbagetown: 97 Estoria

    In Virginia Highlands: Osteria 832

In East Atlanta Village: Grant Central Pizza, The EARL, Flatiron, La Casita Cantina‎, Little Azio. Ru San's (Moreland Ave between L5P and EAV) has great $1 sushi deals.

In College Park: The Brake Pad
