alice chang replied over 4 years agoBeacon Hotel, Ocean Drive.
The Beacon Hotel is old -- according to the website, it was recently renovated to bring it up-to-date. I can't vouch for their 'ample' closets, but their services have been pretty decent.
I'd rate this hotel pretty average, in part because there are some downsides to being an older hotel (strange electrical wiring issues, awkwardly positioned staircases, tiny bathrooms), but the quality of the staff's services and accomodations even things out.

Jennifer Conley replied over 4 years agoI stayed at the Beacon this last weekend and loved it. The rooms were very small but still pretty modern and very clean. Friendly staff. The location makes it worth the price and makes up for the small rooms. You're in the middle of everything (between 7th and 8th on Ocean) and the rooms are far enough in the back that you don't get drowned out by the club music when you go to bed before 5am.

Andreas Schuster replied over 2 years agoThe hotel is nice, but on the pricey end. They'll charge you for every little extra. CAVEAT: read their minibar policy (20 USD restocking fee!) before touching anything. I recommend the rooms with a view over the harbour. It's so much fun to watch the sun rising over South Beach and to spot the big cruise ships.
