It is now a Courtyard by Marriott, not a Doubletree. The bay view rooms with patios are nice. Not a good hotel for business travelers, though, because the wireless in the rooms is terrible to non-existent. Parking is expensive at $23/night but if you tend to arrive after 9pm each night you can park on the street nearby for just $3 (or less).

If you turn right on 27th and right on 1 North to go to 95 North, you are counter-commuting and it is a breeze to get to work. I get to the Blue Lagoon corporate center in about 15 minutes. Also Coco Walk is a short drive away and is a pretty cool place for college aged people on up, with a ton of shops and restaurants.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you like beach communities without a beach, or are a business traveler who needs to be forced to get out of your room and have a little fun on the side. The bayside patios give beautiful sunrises. Great way to start each day.
