Prescott Paulin replied over 3 years ago1789 Restaurant and Prime Rib are coat and tie required. I also recommend Jockey Club. They are all very pricey and well worth it if you'd like to mingle with the politically powerful.
Also, the Bourbon Steak Restaurant at the Four Seasons has some of the best steak along with BLT Steak and Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse.

Enjoyed lunch at BLT Steak last week. The crab cake is quite delicious.
