A N asked
about San Francisco:
Staying at Hotel Nikko for http://twtrcon.com on May 31, 2009. What's closest sushi joint that won't have a line out the door for a quick, comfortable, mid-range bite on a Saturday night?
If it helps, my favorite similar place in the East Bay would be Sushi Sho on Solano. What I'm trying to avoid is a busy (or too-hip), Kirala- or Blowfish-like scene. I like DJ's, just not w/ my fresh fish, thanks.
(Since I'm going to a Twitter conference, I'm comparing Twitter vs. Dopplr results for this Q. WIll share replies cross-platform, domo arigato.)

A N replied over 2 years agoDidn't get to try it, but Anzu inside the Nikko looked pretty intriguing - much better than room service menu, at least. Has anyone tried Nikko? Their fusion looked like it could be more gimick than something to savor. [BTW, Twitter won the contest for replies.]
