Try a Clothing Optional Vacation next time you are in Palm Springs

Lonely Planet travel guide company picked Palm Springs as one of the 10 must vacation destinations for 2008. One of the reasons they picked Palm Springs is you had to stay at a clothing optional resort and try topless or nude sunbathing. And the Terra Cotta Inn clothing optional resort and spa is the most famous.

Not a nudist? No problem. Terra Cotta Inn is the most mainstream clothing optional resort in the US and is perfect for couples nude sunbathing for the first time.

Ranked as one of the 10 best clothing optional resorts in the world by both AOL.com and Tripadvisor.com, you will love your vacation with them.

So if you want a nice, relaxing, fun vacation give them a call at 1-800-786-6938

3 Fun Things in Palm Springs

    1) Melvin's. Have a martini. Then a dance. Repeat.

    2) The Casino Resort Spa - Or whatever they call it, it's the main casino. One dollar beers. 5$ martini's. Free juice or water, and you can smoke. Don't bet a dime and you'll walk out a winner every night.

    3) The big mexican restaurant on Palm Canyon Dr. - They have fish bowl marg's and a house band that plays Men At Work. Need I say more?

The ride up to about 8000 Ft. is amazing, and you can see the entire Palm Springs, Palm Desert area, and even the distant Salton Sea. There is a restaurant at the top, and a snack area. There are hiking trials that will take you through an alpine climate. It is very cold on top sometimes even during the summer, and you must bring a long some wilderness common sense. Once you leave the large lodge, you are in a very wild area that has big cats and bears. So please know what you are doing. I like to drive up the little road to the foot of the tram, and simply sit by the waterfall or in the patch of woods there and read a book. Very peaceful. Still, even on the foot of the tram there are animals. Heads up.
