    Chinatown!

I've been eating there since I was a kid, and now that I live right nearby, I still do not tire of the food to be found there. Dim Sum can be scaled to any budget, or try hole in the walls with great food, like Yung Kee (for wonton noodle soup) or Shan Dong (for dumplings).

There are great lunch places all over the financial district and Chinatown. For fast, cheap, and delicious, Take It Easy Thai on 17th is a sure thing. I suggest the coconut curry! I also like The Breakroom on 13th for vegetarian and vegan sandwich options. Very friendly people and delicious, socially conscious food.

BTW, Take It Easy Thai is at 17th and Webster and the Breakroom is at 13th and Harrison

Rico's diner on 400 15th Street. Great food (their coffee milkshakes rule!). They also have a separate Vegan and vegetarian menu.

Golden Lotus is good food - be warned, it's all vegetarian. Vietnamese I think (maybe Chinese?).
