R-Ranch at the Lake is a growing recreational/ranch style association (an undivided interest) with a maximum of 1,800 owners and is the responsibility of a five member Board of Directors. The Ranch Owners' Association (R.O.A.) employs people who work in maintenance, security, housekeeping and the stables. Since it is an undivided interest, the owners own all of the facilities and are not limited to how often they can come to the Ranch because it is not a timeshare. Owners own a share of all the facilities.

There is 24 hour a day security and only owners showing an R-Ranch photo ID are allowed on the Ranch. Owners may bring guests with them for a small fee.

R-Ranch at the Lake is located just 17 miles from the heart of the city of Napa, California with its many wineries and is an easy hour drive from San Francisco's Bay Area.

Ubuntu is definitely the one place that YOU MUST EAT. The food is ridiculously amazing and super vegetarian friendly (though it's not just for veggies). It's an amazing space and there are yoga classes there during the day, but don't worry - it turns right classy at night.
