Michelle Loretta replied over 4 years agoFarmers Market on 3rd & Fairfax is the BEST open air market... lots of fun... blended with some cool little restaurants. Moisseur Marcel is a great place to snack on wine and cheese there.
Grand Central Market Downtown is also awesome.

Eric Mueller replied over 4 years agoI hvae to agree with Michelle-- the Farmer's Market is great, and it's original since 1934, which is a big deal in a city so obsessed with youth that practically nothing is older than 15 years ;-)
It's also a great location, there's a ton of great galleries and boutiques on 3rd Street, and the Farmer's Market abuts The Grove, one of the most successful malls ever. (It's much more charming than a "mall," trust me. Plus, there's an Apple Store, for all you Mac folks, and some of the best movie theaters, too.)
best, Eric

John Schwartz replied over 4 years agoHollywood Farmer's Market (Sundays): fresh local organic produce and incredible food stalls. Don't miss it--it's where the chefs shop. (Selma/Hollywood)

Joel Moss Levinson replied over 4 years agoSanta Monica has an acceptable farmer's market on the weekend too, if you are out in that area and can't get to Hollywood, but the Hollywood Farmer's Market on sundays is by FAR the best.
