Lots of good (if pricey) restaurants in the Village area. I would highly recommend La Piccoletta -- it's a tiny, cosy Italian restaurant with a simple menu: delicious, *handmade* pasta. Call ahead to reserve a table. Sushi Cruise up on Foothill is good too--quality, reasonably priced sushi and Japanese food.
