Olive and Ivy Restaurant & Marketplace

Interesting concept for a restaurant. The food is a fusion of Mediterranean and Californian cuisine. According to our server, you can mix and match ingredients to suit your palette. Very fresh food. Nice atmosphere - similar to PF Changs.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and my co-workers and I agree that it's worth a visit.

Sophie's Bistro -- great place for lunch

A quiet place with a limited menu of not-so-traditional French food and good conversation. It's in an old house, which for Phoenix is unusual as everything here seems to be a chain.

For dinner, it's a wonderful special place for a celebration. Piano bar on weekends.

There are 51 miles of primary trails for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking at South Mountain Park/Preserve. After viewing the Phoenix skyline you can eat at one of the three restaurants at The Farm at South Mountain, where there are also organic gardens, art galleries, markets, and a beautiful grove of pecan trees.
