Phoenix, AZ + Add a trip

Hotel Valley Ho is a really fun place. Pricey, but hip and interesting. The place started as an authentic mid-century rat pack hangout, and was lovingly restored a few years ago.

I have a couple that I like. FireSky Resort in Scottsdale has a great pool with a beach entry. Plus it is a Kimpton and they have a free wine hour every M-F from 5-6p.

I also like Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort for something a little more homey. It used to be a Renaissance, but they have bungalow suites at the back of the property that have their own personal patio with in-ground hot tub.

Hotel Indigo is also usually a bargain. It is a great boutique hotel with a wine hour and great patio with fire pit.

In North Phoenix, stay at the Homewood Suites - Phoenix Metro Center.
