Dan Gillmor replied over 3 years agoFancy shopping folks seem to like the places in Scottsdale and the Biltmore center in Phoenix. Downtown Phoenix open market, closest thing to serious farmers market (and other things) is much better on Saturday than Wednesday.

Cheryl Colan replied over 3 years agoAgreed, the Downtown Phoenix Public Market is the best.
You can also try the Farmer's Market at Town & Country (20th Street and Camelback Road) on Wednesdays. You'll find locally-made art, food & skin care products, and fresh locally grown produce at both places. A man who sells wild-caught salmon flash-frozen on the boat appears for a few weeks during the summer and fall - if you see him, BUY!

Kathy Gill replied over 3 years agoOld Town Scottsdale has two excellent western stores -- Saba's (two locations, boots and apparel) and Bischoff's Shades of the West (hats, serapes, leather goods - including Dooney & Burke, novelties and great)
