Krabi, Thailand + Add a trip

If you want something lively, in Ao Nang, the restaurants along the seafront are good but note these are down a side road at the end, they are not on the main drag which is very very touristy. If you're looking for something less lively, get a cab to the seafood restaurants in Noppatharat.

If you're looking for something more authentic, the night market in Krabi town is a great place to sample southern fare but bear in mind these are more fiery than elsewhere in Thailand so unless you want your tongue burnt off ask for 'not spicy'. Krabi is also one of the best places in Thailand if you want a break from Thai food - there's a great Italian restaurant near Krabi town.
