Central World Siam Paragon MBK Pratunam Chatuchak weekend market.

Justin Gosling replied over 4 years agoMost of those mentioned above are glossy modern shopping malls selling the same stuff you can get anywhere else in the world.
Chatuchak Weekend Market is the largest flea market in the world. Great place to go for souvenirs or shopping for your home. Everything from retro clothing to expensive artwork. But - be prepared for the crowds! Go early and don't plan to spend more than a couple of hours there. Although of course you can get a massage at the end.
Suan Lum Night Bazarr is similar but slightly smaller. Good place to go in the evening for some shopping and then a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or in the beer garden.

Clementine replied over 4 years agoAgree with Justin, Chatuchak is the best weekend market in bangkok ( maybe in Thailand) for my opinion. You can literaly find almost everything there. It s fun if you dont mind the crowds, the hot ,humid air ( there are AC sections) , the narrow alleys. Dont go on the first few days of your arrival, it s not as much fun when you are jetlag. Just be prepared ,wear something light, short, sandal and watch your bag.

remittance girl replied over 4 years agoPlatinum Fashion Mall is an insane 5-story labyrinth of cheap women's fashion. The mall also features mini-stalls of some young, budding fashion designers. Everything is pretty cheap and one expects them to fall apart pretty fast. Sizing is not aimed at larger western women - there is some oversize stuff, but not a lot.

Jim Lundblad replied over 4 years agoI love the weekend market, this epic sized place has everything.
