take a look at Villa Bled, it's expensive, but has prime location on the lake.

It does have the atmosphere, like it was the soviet officers hotel; none the less the location is excellent.

Lovely Pension.

Stayed in a double room with ensuite bathroom for around €20 per person per night. Lovely breakfast following morning as well.

Hotel with (if you choose lakeside rooms) excellent views across the lake. We stayed in a room with a balcony.

We felt the hotel could do with a little updating, but it offered a good standard of accommodation at a budget price, especially considering the amazing view.

Breakfast wasn't great though. Not a very high standard.
