Dave Snowden replied over 4 years agoI try and stay in the Gallery Hotel if I can get a good rate. Its got Free internet and is a "design" hotel which means its a bit different. Its not by an MRT station and I wouldn't have breakfast there (go to the Aussie run coffee bar across the street from the entrance which is excellent. Lots of places to eat along Robertson Quay and China Town is close by.

Justin Arbuckle replied over 4 years agoST Regis has the best service, Shangri La the best food and the Fullerton the best location....close to clarke quay and boat quay.

Mark Prior replied over 4 years agoI like the Scarlet Hotel in Erskine Road. It's a small, quirky, boutique hotel down near Chinatown. The rooftop bar is a nice place to escape to and chill out.

Christoph Ebell replied over 4 years agoThe Shangri-La is great, super service, efficient, friendly. Get one of the big Horizon Club rooms, they are absolutely huge. Great for work. I love the pool area. Design is ok, can be a bit stuffy. Stayed at the Grand Hyatt last time, this was great as well. They did a superb job on the rooms in the new wing. Both highly recommended.

Maureen Mee Ling Liew replied over 4 years agoGet hold of a MRT card (pre-paid) and hop-on-And-Off stations and bus terminals for a varied taste of a variety of food in this diverse cosmopolitan city. The discoveries and surprises await to tickle your senses any time and every time.
