Where's good to stay in Stockholm?

  Story Hotel is a rather new hotel, (it opened in March 2009) but it already made its mark on the city's nightlife. Rooms are spacious, pretty cool and cheaper than you'd expect. Location is perfect if you'd like to taste the city until sunrise. Recommended. See/read more at Guidebook (and then a dot) se.

  I like the new Story Hotel in Östermalm. It's an unassuming hotel that's simplistic in concept and execution. Refreshingly designed spaces, ease-of-use online booking, online check in at the kiosk, five digit room codes and no keys to misplace or re-code.

  The hotel's decor is eco-friendly but not overly so with comforts like heated bathroom floor tiles, plenty of light, and hand sculpted signature mugs . It's surprisingly quiet and the friendly staff make sure everyone welcome.

  Walking distance to the t-bahn and Stockholm's bustling nightlife,restaurants and lovely waterside walking views at dusk.

  I strongly encourage you to fill out the cleverly cheeky comment card left on every bed.
