    Esque

Techno and house on Fridays and Saturdays between 11pm and 4am in central Stockholm. The club is run by Mattias Hedlund, Anders Åkergren and Fredrik Nilsson. Great atmosphere, and they get a lot of international acts. Check out the podcast on the website to get a feel for the kind of music you can expect!

    Sandhamn is worth the trip

    Meetings at Nordic Light Hotel

Nordic Light Hotel is a great place for meetings, especially if they are long and you need to maintain a high level of energy and creativity throughout the day. The hotel is located just outside the railway station so you'll be there in half an hour if coming from the airport by Arlanda Express. The facilities, refreshments/snacks and the view over the city (10th floor) are magnificient.

    City Bikes

The blue stockholm city bikes are a very pleasant way to get around, but with three major limitations - you can't pick one up from the stands after 18:30, you may only have one for 3 hours before it should be returned to a stand, and it can be difficult finding a free parking space next to the main attractions (esp. Skansken).

    Drop Coffee.

This is one of the best - if not _the_ best café in Stockholm. One of the proprietors - Oskar - previously ran Tvålpalatset, which was the best café in Stockholm. Drop Coffee has even higher ambitions as they are now refurnishing an entirely new location close to Mariatorget subway station, where they'll serve coffee using state-of-the-art machinery, great knowledge of the entire coffee-making process and excellent service.

The people involved are really passionate about everything involved with coffee, not to mention they're holding courses in everything coffee.

    They're on http://dropcoffee.blogspot.com and http://twitter.com/dropcoffee

Nice concept and great experience. Unfortunately, the place it too far from the city to offer the best view possible. If you ever been to the London eye, you'll be disapointed.

If you make just one tourist stop in Stockholm, this should be it. The Vasa is an extraordinary piece of history, a ghostly whole ship rescued from the bottom of the harbor and preserved partly through science, partly through miracle. Built too tall to be seaworthy, the ship's original journey barely got it out of the harbor before it sank. Now, the 17th-century ship is reconstructed whole, almost entirely composed of its original wood, alongside spooky remnants and reconstructions of the lives lost aboard.
