Lilla Kafferosteriet is located in a cozy old building and serves amazing coffee and various pastries. I recommend their standard filter coffee for anyone tired of lattes and macciatos: they always serve about 3-4 sorts of freshly brewed filter coffee from various parts of the world. Sorts vary from day to day.

Fagans is a replica of a standard irish pub and a great place for after work beer and food. The staff is mostly native english and always friendly. Once a week during weekdays (don't remember the day) they have a quiz night which is very popular - so be there in time! Other days mon-fri its usually not that crowded.

Fiskehoddorna is a neat little marketplace with fresh, swedish seafood. The seafood comes both from local sources and from fishermen on the swedish west coast. Here you can get swedish classic sill, as well as smoked salmon and eel.

Slottsträdgårdens Café is a nice place located in a public garden in the middle of a cozy park. Here you can get hot and cold sandwitches, carrot cake, muffins and the standard varieties of coffee. During the cold season they also serve hot chocolate.

Melvins Café is a neat little place that serves great coffee. They have a breakfast buffé, and serves brunch and lunch (salads, baguettes and hot and cold sandwiches). The pastries, bread and cookies here are all baked at the famous ecological bakery Olof Victors in Österlen.

Greekway serves great basic greek food. Takeaway is an option.

Kallbadhuset is an old cold water bathing house located at Ribersborg. It is best visited on a sunny winter's day, if you happen to like to get hot in a swedish sauna with a big glass wall, overlooking the sea and thereafter jump into freezing water. Taking a bath here is a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. There is a café in the building which serves coffee, pastries, hot and cold sandwiches and salads.

Smak has a great lunch 11-14.30 (about 100:- skr), Brunch on weekends, but it is not open during the evening. The vegan food is just as great as the meat and fish, so it's a great place to bring vegan friends. It's the restaurant at Konsthallen (the art museum) that shows good contemporary art. It's open even if konsthallen is closed for rehanging. The restaurant has a small garden that is open during the summer.
